Sarah Palin, the Mad Hatter, and leading members of the Tea Party are drinking moose tea discussing strategy. The Party is ultra conservative, wants to lower taxes, reduce spending, and balance the budget. They won a few primary elections giving them momentum into the November elections, and the Mad Hatter insists Sarah become spokesperson for the Party.
Sarah is charismatic, practical, a dynamic speaker, liked by the citizens, loved by moms, unafraid to speak her mind, and would attract new members. She is familiar with Washington’s inner operations, understands the Tea Party philosophy, and uses the Patriotism and freedom sticks to attack the political insiders.
Historically, third parties are defeated as voter comfort lies with the two party systems. Ross Perot and the Reform Party ran for president in 1992 and 1996 but lost even though there membership was ten times greater than the Tea Party.
The Mad Hatter is aware of third parties past failures but assures the Tea Party members Sarah would bring them to the House, Senate, and beyond. There is even a possibility she will run for president in 2012, which by then will have millions of followers. Taking his three-spout teapot, he poured more moose tea and all present believed him.
Listening to her friend and advisor Sarah knew the Tea Party members would ask her to be the official spokesperson. She wants to continue making millions off her book sales and speaking engagements. Financially, she will be secure for the rest of her life riding the Mad Hatter’s coat tails, as she knows how to play the political game better than most.
