Grief – A Glimmer of Hope

Standing at the edge of the pool, the older man adjusted his goggles, slid into the water, and began his lap. Reaching the five hundred meter mark his body was on autopilot, and his mind filled with the patient’s and caregivers he provided emotional support to, while working for Hospice. Moving smoothly along – he remembered Evelyn and their last visit after her husband’s death.
