Chivalry is not dead. I am one that will hold a door open for anyone. If that person is behind me or walking towards the same door I will gladly stand there and hold the door open. I’m not disagreeing with your situation. Unacceptable. Only way I could put that in words.
Please don’t give up on faith. There is still good people in the world.

I have to say that your blog is not a far cry from what I have experienced, especially in the mall. People are just plain rude and have zero consideration for others. I have to say mostly older people (not meaning “old” but older than myself) are the most considerate. If I am in the grocery store and I have a cart full of groceries and the person behind me has a handful of stuff I always let them go in front of me and they are always thankful. I think a lot has to do with growing up and the examples that are tought to us in our younger lives. Whether or not we decide how we want to be as a person is our own choice, the only one we really need to answer to is ourselves. My opinion thats all.
